84Figure 1 Four-Quadrant Diagram and Distribution of Each Task by Frequency and DifficultyNote. The numbers next to the diamond-shaped dots indicate each question in the questionnaire. The dotted lines indicate the overall mean scores for frequency and difficulty (M = 2.1 and M = 2.7, respec-tively). On the frequency axis, “0” indicates “never,” “1” stands for “low,” and “4” for “high.” On the difficulty axis, “1” indicates “low” and “4” stands for “high.” Based on the dotted line, the upper-right side of the figure shows the first quadrant (high frequency and high difficulty), the upper-left indicates the second quadrant (high frequency and low difficulty), the lower-left indicates the third quadrant (low frequency and low difficulty), and the lower-right indicates the fourth quadrant (low frequency and high difficulty).Next, a four-quadrant diagram was created to classify each task into four categories based on frequency and difficulty, and each task was mapped onto a diagram based on descriptive statistics (Figure 1). In this diagram, the mean scores for the entire task for frequency and difficulty were used as thresholds to indicate high or low frequency and difficulty. The upper-right quadrant in the figure represents the first quadrant, and each task distributed here is of high frequency and difficulty. For example, the top rightmost diamond, with the number six next to it, represents Q6, indicating that the task is highly frequent and difficult in this context.Table 2 below presents a list of tasks categorized by each combination of frequency and difficulty based on the above descriptive statistics and the distribution of each task in the four-quadrant diagram. This list was created to clarify which of the four groups (high and high, high and low, low and low, or low and high, for frequency and difficulty) each task in the questionnaire belonged to.
